Former Director General of the Department of Films and Publications (DFP) and 1979 batch officer of the BCS Information Cadre, freedom fighter Sanat Kumar Biswas is no more. He breathed his last at his residence in Segunbagicha, Dhaka, on Monday, October 5.
Director General of the Directorate of Films and Publications (DFP) Khaleda Begum has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the death of valiant freedom fighter Sanat Kumar Biswas. In a condolence message, she prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed deep condolences to his bereaved family members. The DFP family is deeply saddened by his passing.
It is worth noting that the brave freedom fighter Sanat Kumar Biswas was born in 1951 in Charikhada village of Narail district. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees with distinction from the Department of Mathematics of Dhaka University. He has performed his duties with great dedication and honesty throughout his career.
