The price of soybean oil has risen again in the country. The new price of bottled soybean oil has been fixed at Rs 204 per litre. However, the price of palm oil has remained unchanged.
The decision was taken at a meeting with edible oil traders at the Ministry of Commerce on Wednesday (September 2nd). After reviewing the international market situation, import costs and the price of edible oil in the country’s market, the decision was taken to increase the price of soybean oil.
According to the new decision, from now on, every litre of bottled soybean oil will be sold for Rs 204. The price of the same amount of oil was Rs. As a result, consumers will have to spend five rupees more than before per liter.
On the other hand, there has been no change in the price of palm oil.
Earlier on 26 April this year, the price of soybean oil was increased by Rs 4 per litre. The price of bottled soybean oil was fixed from Rs 195.
That is, the price of soybean oil has risen again in the country’s market in the space of a few months.
