Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) president Colonel (retd) as a candidate for the 11th presidential election Ahmed’s name has been announced.
Jatiya Nagarik Party (NCP) convener and opposition chief whip Nahid Islam made the announcement after a meeting of the alliance’s top leaders at the opposition leader’s official residence on Sunday (August 9th).
The meeting also discussed the finalization of the presidential election candidates as well as the mutual political agreements and subsequent actions of the alliance.

In addition, the 11th meeting coordinator of the party alliance Dr. Hamidur Rahman Azad, NCP convener Nahid Islam and other leaders of the alliance also took part in the programme.
